Fans Are Turning Fake Pokémon into a Viral Sensation

Fan-made Pokémon are nothing new, but rarely does the community rally around a Pokémon like Regitube (or Regifloat, depending on who you ask). The hypothetical water-type Legendary Giant originated in the TikTok dump and has since become a worldwide legend. pokemon fandom, inspiring fan art, memes, and even modified in-game visuals.

For the sake of consistency, we will call this legendary king Regitube. The origins of the fake Pokémon started innocently enough. In August, The Tube Shack, a Canadian river tubing company, posted a TikTok showing one of its employees creating what could perhaps best be described as a massive suit of armor out of blue floating tubes. The video has been viewed more than 3.6 million times on TikTok, but has begun to spread to other platforms, attracting the attention of fan artists and modders. Now, pokemon fans collectively create the lore, spelling, moves, and even stats of this great man.

With all this attention comes fan art and pokemon The community works fast and still manages to produce incredible work. There are some realistic, modern-looking pieces, but some of Regitube’s best art is the stuff that harkens back to the series’ roots.
