Maul is one of the best and most famous cosplayers on the planet and a man whose work we highlight here for everything. God of War with Assassin’s Creed again and again, witcher. But his last shot might just be his best yet.

in memory of anniversary Superman In his 1938 comic release, Maul took to the skies above Cologne/Cologne (home of GamesCom!) to pay homage to a character “my absolute hero”. Of course, achieving this required a whole team working behind the scenes. First off, it’s worth noting that stunt-trained Maul didn’t wake up one day and fund all of this from billionaire cosplay assets; Pringles sponsored the shoot because there are so many big-budget cosplay features these days.

Warner Bros. and had to work with DC as well. Production concepta film and effects studio specializing in this type of vehicle movement. Parallel Life, a company that works with TV and movie studios to create high-end costumesMade Maul’s suit (black to match his favorite suit) Superman comic). Jun Kim took the photoswith eosAndy—another person we featured here share—in editing tasks.

And yes, okay, something had to happen. A little it takes some editing to get rid of the cables but that doesn’t count.

You can see the full gallery of footage on Maul’s Facebook page, and below is the first of two short videos showing some of the all-encompassing prep work:
