Halo Infinite It is ending its seasonal model in 2024. This guide will tell you everything you need to know. Halo Infinite It’s 2024 and things are looking pretty exciting.

Halo Infinite In 2024: Goodbye Seasons, Hello Operations

343 Industries did not mince words regarding its future Halo Infinitecontent is published. As community manager Brian Jarrard said during the broadcast, “we’re moving away from seasons.” Seasons would arrive every few months, usually with some sort of theme and 100 tiers of unlockables in the battle pass. Instead, you can now look forward to the regular “Operations” starting with “Spirit of Fire” on January 30th. Each Operation will have 20 levels of rewards to absorb, so even though they’re no longer called “seasons” they should still feel somewhat similar.

But Operation Spirit of Fire isn’t the only thing coming on January 30. You can look forward to the following additions when this update arrives:

  • Mark IV armor core (free for all players)
  • Ability to switch shoulders between different armor cores
  • A new 4v4 arena map called “Illusion”

get excited Halo Infinite‘s new map “Illusion”

The new map “Illusion” will feature a symmetrical layout and will be a great option for competitive play as it provides more equal starts for each team. There’s even a super narrow corridor running through the center with an uninterrupted line of sight between opposing enemy bases, which will likely be a magnet for some serious carnage. If you’ve ever played Husky Raid, where Spartan teams face off in a simple lane, you know how deadly lanes can be. Hale. There are also a lot of variable elevations from what we see in the creek.

This new map looks really promising and should make an excellent addition to the map rotation in various playlists.

But that’s not all! Do you remember the corridor that runs through the map? If you step in there, you become invisible. Objective-based games like capture the flag and even capture the king of the hill should see some interesting gameplay with such an easily accessible stealth option.

The possibility of future maps featuring interesting enhancements like easily accessible invisibility or unique power weapons seems like a welcome change from the usual offering of standard arena maps that recycle the same weapons and traversal methods.

Halo Infinite leaning towards nostalgia

Although there are a few variations on Hale‘s iconic assault rifle Foreverstock assault rifle reminds of the one that appeared in the 2010s Halo Reach. This will be joined by a new skin for the assault rifle that looks just like the assault rifle. Halo Battle Evolved, The game that started it all. Since this is just a skin, there will be no changes to the stats (sorry, no 60-round magazine). The skin will be part of the paid version of the January 30 operation.

And the new Mark IV armor core from the 2009 RTS spin-off Halo WarsIt will also drop as a free cosmetic for all players.

Finally, there’s a square upper shield that looks like a cosmetic item taken from the new “Illusion” map. Halo War Evolved. Little things like this help sales Hale as a cohesive world, and considering the amount of stylistic changes the series has undergone, these unifying characteristics are more than welcome.

Forge and playlist updates on the way

If you love Forge creations, another treat awaits on January 30, including Covenant-themed items that pay homage to the series’ main antagonists and lovers of all things purple. Extra color customization options will also be available on January 30, adding even more color options to choose from among the wide variety of in-game objects in Forge. Finally, “script brains”, a fancy term for code that allows complex objects to behave in unique ways, can be saved into game modes and used across multiple maps; Previously, script brains were inherently tied to a specific map.

Flood-themed items are also coming to the Forge. Based on Hale‘s undead enemy group, these beings look particularly gnarly. Brian Jarrard referred to them on air as “moist”. You’re welcome

Finally, Big Team Battle will also receive refreshes to Husky Raid, Squad Battle, and Firefight, along with three community maps added to the rotation in February. But most importantly, a new match selection method similar to this is expected to emerge in 2024. Halo: Master Chief Collection“Match Builder” that lets you search across broad categories (instead of mode-specific playlists) like player count, game type, and more. If you’re tired of locking you into the same game modes over and over again, this should be a great way to customize the games you want to play. Works great Master Chief Collection.

If you want to spend some more time Halo Infinite2024 looks like it will be a very good year for the iconic shooter series.
