Oculus Rift and HTC Vive owners can now rejoice as Minority Media Inc. has announced that Time Machine VR will officially be released this April. Time travel enthusiasts will be able to see a preview of the game between March 16th and 18th at the Game Developer’s Conference in San Francisco.

In the story of Time Machine VR, humankind is being destroyed by a dangerous plague that could push mankind to extinction. The only way to save the human race is with the DNA of ferocious dinosaurs that roamed the earth in the Jurassic area. You’ll take on the role of a scientist and travel back in time, investigate the prehistoric beasts and, hopefully, become the savior of humanity.

Time Machine VR is one of the first games developed for VR gameplay and is currently in Early Access on Steam. Minority Media Inc. aims to develop Time Machine VR into an exciting virtual reality experience for players, hence, they’ve put it up on Early Access for feedback and insights from the gaming community. Before its official release, Time Machine VR will add more content and features such as added game mechanics, additional story modes, more dinos, and HTC Vive support.

“We know that, like us, you’ve always dreamed of having your own time machine. We’re off to a great kickoff, and we’re confident that with your support and valuable insight, we can fine-tune Time Machine VR into an even cooler adventure.” – Minority Media Inc. Team

The game will launch in April 2016 with full support for both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
