Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition


The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition comes with gear that takes players one small step towards the world of warfare with the fully functioning night vision goggles. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Collector’s Edition


Coming out in Fall last year toting a $119.99 price tag, the Assassin’s Creed Syndicate Collector’s Edition was a gorgeous package for any die-hard fan of Ubisoft’s pseudo-historical assassin series. Following in the footsteps of previous limited edition Assassin’s Creed Collector’s Editions, the one for Syndicate featured a nine-inch statue of hero Jacob Crossroad, the along with other paraphernalia such as the official soundtrack and a double-sided map of old London.

The Last of Us Post-Pandemic Edition


On top of the Sights & Sounds and Survival DLC Packs, which include the official game soundtrack and multiplayer bonuses, The Last of Us Post-Pandemic Edition collector’s edition box set boasts a premium statuette of the game’s heroes, Joel and Ellie. Said statuette is reportedly is worth $200 in value. Other collector’s items include the steel book edition of the game itself, and a copy of The Last of Us – American Dreams #1 comic.

This limited edition box set of the post-apocalyptic game that made waves last year is truly something special. Players who turned in the ‘caps’ necessary for one (and indeed, one fan actually did send in 2,000 bottle caps to Bethesda HQ for a copy of Fallout 4, although he didn’t get the limited edition box set) were treated to a fully functional replica of the Pip-Boy. Saints Row IV: The Super Dangerous Wad Wad Edition


Okay, this one just screams Saints Row. It’s the stuff of legends when it comes to the words “limited edition”, both because of what it packs, and because there is literally only one available. Any player willing to shell out, say, oh one million US dollars will be treated to, including but not limited to: plastic surgery procedures of choice, the chance to experience a hostage rescue mission, and a trip to outer space. Annnd two cars, a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Toyota Prius, because Saints Row. Other game developers are probably going to have a hard time topping this one.
