The term Director’s Cut has been around for a long time, and it’s normally used for in films, TV series, comic books and now also in games. If you are unfamiliar with the term look no further! Below you find out what it offers and why you would want to get your hands on a one (or more)!

Wasteland 2 Director's Cut

By definition, Director’s Cut is a version before it’s officially “cut” and approved for release to the general public. In video games, a Director’s Cut is quite similar to those in films, where, before games are actually released, they are put through a clean up process wherein redundant or irrelevant scenes are cut out. The Director’s Cut is the version which still contains all these deleted scenes. Fans of certain franchises definitely want to get their hands on one to experience a full uncut game. Here are some examples of video games that have Director’s Cut releases:

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
