tombraider nvidia poster for geforce video cards with the game

PC gamers will still have to wait a couple more weeks until January 26 for the PC port of Rise of the Tomb Raider, the latest entry in Lara Croft’s journey. Still, NVIDIA has plans to include the critically-acclaimed game in a bundle with their high-end 900 series hardware.

As the follow-up to 2013’s Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider follows the iconic archaeologist Lara Croft as she journeys across numerous locations across the globe to uncover the secrets of Kitezh, a lost city that her father had become obsessed with to the point of insanity, and eventually suicide. Crafting, a weather system and redesigned combat mechanics that allow for a stealthier play-style are some of the cool features included in the game. The game was also generally well-received among critics when it launched on consoles, receiving tons of praise for its intense guerilla combat system and elements of exploration that the series is so well-known and beloved for.

If you’re totally okay with parting with about $480 or so for a new top-end graphics card and if you want to nab the PC version of Rise of the Tomb Raider, you might want to take a look into getting a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980 or 970 graphics card/ system, or a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980/980M/970M notebook. Plus this seems like the perfect opportunity to truly be able to ogle at the game’s jaw-droppingly beautiful visuals of Siberia, Syria and the long lost city of Kitezh.

Do take note that this is a limited time offer, and it’ll only be up for grabs until February 16. Take a look at the participating stores and retailers here, as other branches aren’t offering this promo.
