Hunter Biden’s Drug Habit, Ashley Madison Account and Sordid Affair With His Brother’s Widow Exposed by Jilted Wife

Joe Biden agonized over whether to run for president in 2015, but ultimately chose not to due to family considerations. At the time it was widely believed that the elder statesman was reacting to the recent death of his son, Beau, the attorney general of Delaware who had recently died from brain cancer. However, Page Six reported that Joe’s second son Hunter started having an affair with Beau’s widow Hallie while he was still married to his wife Kathleen.

Explosive divorce documents filed by Kathleen accuse her husband of having affairs, sleeping with prostitutes and doing drugs. Friends are now speaking out to set the record straight about Hunter Biden’s relationship with Hallie. The two formed a close bond during Beau’s illness and death.

Friend Rob Buccini told People magazine that Hunter and Hallie accompanied Beau to all of his doctor appointments. Hunter, 47, struggled with drug addiction in the past. Kathleen accuses him of living a sordid lifestyle, but Buccini told a different story, saying that he grew close to Hallie at a time when both were struggling. Joe’s brother Jim also commented, “We take great pride in the fact that we have each other with all that’s going on in this world today.

Buccini clarified that the affair did not start until after Beau had died. “This isn’t something that happened while he was sick, it came as a result of being in the trenches together for three years… They didn’t intend [for] this, obviously, to happen.”

Beau was just 46 when he passed away, leaving his wife and two young children. Hunter and Kathleen reportedly had separated in October 2015, but had been growing apart for years before Beau’s death. Buccini said that the strain of his brother’s illness exacerbated the marital problems. He did not believe that Hunter would spend money on drugs and women.

Hunter and Kathleen have three daughters: Naomi, 23, Finnegan, 18, and Maisy, 16. The Biden family and friends support the Hallie and Hunter relationship. “Anyone moved to judgment now has no knowledge of the grace and strength with which Hunter and Hallie have navigated the last four years,” said childhood friend Lea Carpenter.

Joe and Jill Biden released a statement stating how happy they were for the couple. Kathleen, who filed for divorce in December, is still good friends with Michelle Obama. Kathleen and Maisy met up with Sasha and Malia Obama in Aspen over the President’s Day weekend.

Kathleen’s divorce filing said she kicked her husband out after an incident on July 5, 2015, that she does not describe. The event happened one month after Beau died. Kathleen did say “The parties’ outstanding debts are shocking and overwhelming,” saying they maxed out their credit cards and owed a tax debt of more than $300,00. She asked the court to freeze the couple’s assets to stop Hunter’s extravagant spending.

Kathleen claims Hunter spends money on “drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, strip clubs and gifts for women with whom he had sexual relations.” She also says he purchased a large “diamond, on information and belief worth approximately $80,000.”

In August of 2015, reporters found a “Robert Biden” among the names of the hacked users on the extramarital affair site Ashley Madison. Hunter denied being the Robert Biden on the site.

Hallie’s father Ron Olivere agreed with Joe and Jill Biden that the new relationship was a good thing. He said “I’m in total support of the family and what they’ve gone through and what they continue to go through.”

Hunter released a statement confirming the relationship. “Hallie and I are incredibly lucky to have found the love and support we have for each other in such a difficult time, and that’s been obvious to the people who love us most. We’ve been so lucky to have family and friends who have supported us every step of the way.”

Joe and Dr. Jill Biden said: “We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”

The two have been seen together but not alone. They travelled with the family last August to dedicate the name of a road in Kosovo in Beau’s name. Beau Biden was stationed in Kosovo during his military career.

Hallie and Hunter also appeared together at the Blue Dream Summer Gala in Southampton, New York, which honored the Beau Biden Foundation for the Protection of Children. The two stood on stage with their arms around each other. Later that night, photogs show Hunter’s oldest girls Naomi and Finnegan looking unenthusiastic to be sitting next to their aunt Hallie.

That same weekend, Kathleen was hanging out with Michelle Obama in Washington D.C. Both women grew up in Chicago and became lawyers. Their daughters, Sasha and Maisy, are best friends who attend the same school.

Michelle and Kathleen are best friends as well. Michelle attended a Voices Against Violence event hosted by Kathleen for the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project, a non-profit that dedicated to helping domestic violence victims.

Hunter is the youngest son of Joe and his first wife Neilia. Hunter’s baby sister and mother were killed in a car accident when Hunter and Beau were just kids, shortly after their father was elected to the U.S. Senate. Later Joe married Jill and had another child, a daughter named Ashley. Like his brother, Hunter attended law school and became a lawyer.

Beau was considered a probable candidate for governor of Delaware when he became sick. With his acumen and service in the National Guard, Beau was thought to be a potential major player in Democratic politics. Hunter is not as poised to step into his brother’s shoes. Hunter openly struggled with drug addiction. Although Hunter was given a post in the Naval Reserves, he was kicked out in 2014 for a positive cocaine test, and is now working in the investment industry.
