Taking place at the Gadget Show Live from March 31 to April 3, 2016, is the European Debut of LucidSound’s brand new wireless universal gaming headset, the LucidSound LS30.
Purchases for the LucidSound LS30 gaming headset will be available during the show at their booth (K170) and will be the firsts in Europe. It’s been getting a lot of positive feedback from different sites and has even been awarded as “CES Editors Choice Award 2016” by reviewed.com. While many other headsets go for bright colors and intimidating designs, LucidSound goes for a different approach with the LS30. In terms of design, the LS30 is stylish, and available in either a black or white color. It has a glossy appearance that appeals to the eye with its earcups containing the LucidSound logo. Both the earcups and headband are padded in order to offer its users comfort, and that they won’t have to worry about their ears hurting after wearing them for so long. The LS30 also comes with a tiny mic that sticks out to the front and fit perfectly with its simplistic design.
Looks aside, the LucidSound LS30 offers great functionality. It has innovative and unique controls, enabling users to change the volume or mute it with just a snap of a finger. On the right cup, you can change audio volume by turning the disc back and forth, and you can mute it just by clicking the center. The left cup has similar controls but this applies solely for the mic instead. The sound quality of the LS30 also gives its looks justice. Built with uncompressed wireless technology, the LS30 offers users the choice between three audio modes (Normal, Bass Boost, and Treble Boost) that would deem fit for any gaming genre. It also features interference-free audio, high-quality bass, and clear-sounding highs.
But what really makes the LucidSound LS30 unique is its versatile compatibility across different platforms. Its functions are compatible with the two biggest consoles in the current generation, Xbox One, and PS4. But it doesn’t stop there, the LS30 is also compatible with legacy consoles such as the PS3 and Xbox 360. Because of its wireless function, you can now enjoy a game without the trouble of tangled wires or “lost” volume controls. In addition to these gaming consoles, the LucidSound LS30 also functions with mobile gaming devices like the Sony PSVita and the Nintendo 3DS, and can work for most music devices or mobile phones.
The LucidSound LS30 gaming headset will go on retail across Europe starting April 2016. For those who want to check its functionality in detail, here are its specs:
